Job Title: IT Project Lead of Strategic IT/OT Initiatives

As a highly skilled and motivated IT Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading initiatives for new Siemens-wide IT/OT platforms and innovations, including IT/OT infrastructure, virtualization, connectivity, networking, cybersecurity, interoperability, and digital twins. You will drive pilots, service creation projects, and contribute to shaping an IT/OT strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT/OT Platform Strategy: Develop and refine strategies for scalable Siemens-wide IT/OT platform services, including Edge-to-Cloud connectivity, virtualization, networking, cybersecurity, interoperability, and digital twins.
2. Lead Innovation & Customer Zero: Pilot new Siemens products in collaboration with factories, focusing on initiatives like Industrial Metaverse, Information Hub, and Digital Twin.
3. Demand Management: Identify key demands for IT/OT platforms across Siemens factories in coordination with the Factory Digitalization team.
4. Project Management: Lead IT projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
5. Foster Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with business units, IT, product teams, and external partners, promoting #OneTechCompany.
6. Shape Technology and Service Roadmap: Define future IT/OT & IoT services with Siemens IT service teams.

Candidate Profile

You excel in:

• Education: Master’s degree in IT, engineering, business informatics, or similar.
• Experience & Skills: Over 5 years in international manufacturing or IT organizations, with experience in digital transformation projects in OT environments, and in-depth knowledge of IT/OT environments, cloud technologies, and emerging tech like AI and digital twins.
• Ways of Working: Strong communication and collaboration skills across organizational levels.
• Languages: Excellent in English and German.
