What you'll do
- Manage and maintain Juniper and Cisco access switch infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and stability.
- Manage and optimize Cisco WiFi infrastructure, specifically Cisco 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC).
- Operate and manage the Cisco DNA Catalyst Center, including software-defined access (SD-Access).
- Administer and troubleshoot Infoblox DHCP and IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions for efficient IP address allocation and management.
- Monitor and analyze network performance and health proactively using tools such as PRTG Network Monitor.
- Support and administer F5 load balancers and implement, manage, and optimize Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Collaborate with cross-regional network teams to harmonize infrastructure standards and ensure seamless network operations.
- Lead daily operational network tasks to ensure reliability and availability, and work with application and functional teams to integrate security standards.
- Document network configurations, processes, maintenance procedures, and security policies.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, with 5-6 years of professional experience in network engineering, administration, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and industry standards, with hands-on experience with Cisco WiFi, DHCP, IPAM, and network monitoring tools.
- Expertise with Cisco 9800 WLC and wireless technologies, along with strong experience with Juniper and Cisco switches and firewalls.
- Practical experience with Cisco ISE for network security management and ability to manage PRTG Network Monitor and diagnostic tools.
- Understanding of Cisco DNA for automation and network assurance, and comprehensive knowledge of firewall technologies, including configuration, rule management, and security policy implementation.
- Scripting/automation skills in Python or Ansible.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and data synthesis capabilities.
- Self-starter with initiative, ability to prioritize, and passion for technological advancement and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (oral and written) to articulate complex technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
