IT-Network Engineer (m/f/d)

Your assignment:

• You are responsible for the design and administration of the entire network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and firewall) in accordance with current security standards.
• You are responsible for network access control and therefore network security. Refine the rules and regulations in line with the Zero Trust concept and rectify faults during operation.
• Together with the IT operations team, you will further develop the IT security concepts and contribute to their implementation or manage projects and sub-projects for implementation.
• You will keep the network infrastructure and the associated documentation up to date.
• You are the contact person and coordinator for questions about our telephone system.

Your Profile:

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or a degree in computer science (business informatics, computer engineering) or comparable professional experience.
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the administration of Windows server operating systems, ideally in an environment with more than 200 Windows servers in manufacturing companies.
• You have very good knowledge of Active Directory, Domain Controller and are proficient in scripting with PowerShell.
• You have experience in managing and implementing IT projects (with and without external support).
• You have an affinity for sustainable solutions that fit the IT security baseline, as well as lean processes.
• You are characterized by a high level of commitment and a solution-oriented and independent way of working.
• Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
