Qualifikationen

Requirements

1. Completed IT vocational training, e.g., as an IT specialist (m/f/d), alternatively as a network technician (m/f/d), or ideally a completed IT degree or comparable.
2. Very good knowledge of common network topologies, protocols, and systems in LAN, WLAN (HPE Aruba), and WAN, as well as in the security area.
3. Ideally, experience with next-generation firewalls (FortiNet).
4. Interest in virtual machines (VMware), Windows Servers, and (Azure) Active Directory/Entra.
5. Your profile is rounded out by good written and spoken English skills (at least conversational level), as well as a high degree of reliability, independence, and a sense of responsibility.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Support and optimization of existing network and WLAN environments in a global environment.
2. Support of firewalls worldwide in collaboration with a service provider.
3. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of systems.
4. Planning and implementation of national and international IT projects, particularly the introduction or conversion of on-premise and cloud solutions in the network and security areas.
5. Creation of documentation; training of the IT support team.
6. Management of external service providers.
