Our client is an international chemical company. At the Leverkusen site, we are looking for a temporary employee for an initial period of 6 months as:

IT Master Data Specialist (m/w/d) hybrid (50% remote)

Become a member of the Master Data workstream within our strategic S/4HANA transformation project. This role focuses on ensuring quality assurance during the critical testing phase to guarantee seamless integration and optimal functionality.

Main Responsibilities

1. Characterization and optimization of business partner master data
2. Familiarization with newly defined processes and support in their implementation
3. Functional testing of new developments, including applications and interfaces
4. Careful documentation of test results and creation of test reports
5. Close collaboration with developers for identifying and resolving errors
6. Support in quality assurance and improvement of master data quality

Qualifications

1. Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
2. Several years of experience in master data management for business partners
3. In-depth knowledge of S/4HANA and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
4. Basic knowledge of SAP Cloud4Customer, SAP Ariba, or Workday is advantageous
5. Experience in conducting software tests and applying test methods
6. Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
7. Excellent communication skills and team orientation
8. Very good command of English, both written and spoken - German is an advantage
