We are currently seeking an IT Infrastructure & Security Operations Specialist (f/m/d) to join our team in Munich, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg, or Nuremberg.

Your Tasks with Us

1. Monitoring security and compliance standards: Oversee our Microsoft 365 environment to ensure compliance with security and data protection requirements.
2. Analyzing and responding to security incidents: Work with the SIEM/SOC team to assess risks, recognize security events from various sources, and initiate appropriate measures promptly and systematically.
3. Implementing security guidelines: Apply technical measures such as conditional access, MFA, DLP, and role models, and continuously develop our Microsoft 365 security architecture.
4. Supporting audits and awareness: Participate in audits, assist with system hardening, and develop security awareness measures for employees.
5. Further developing hybrid cloud operations: Support the expansion of our hybrid cloud environment (Microsoft Azure, on-premise) and manage Windows and Linux systems (Ubuntu and others).
6. Operation and administration of Docker containers: Support the secure operation of containerized applications and infrastructure.
7. Collaborating with IT and other departments: Work closely with Infrastructure Operations, IT Support, and Application Specialists, contributing security insights to interdisciplinary projects.
8. Serving as a contact for IT security: Advise colleagues on security issues and assist with secure system configurations.

The Requirements

1. Qualifications: Completed training as an IT specialist (f/m/d), a degree with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification—preferably with a focus on IT security.
2. Experience with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance: Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, or Purview, or willingness to learn intensively.
3. Linux knowledge: Experience with Linux, especially in server administration.
4. Security tools: Experience with common open-source security tools.
5. Automation interest: Enthusiasm for automating and optimizing security and IT processes, e.g., with n8n or Microsoft Power Automate.
6. Certifications: Certifications in IT security are desirable but not mandatory; motivation and practical experience are valued more.
7. Language skills: Excellent German (at least B2/C1) and good English skills, both written and spoken.
