The role offers the opportunity to work mostly remote and involves assessing security maturity, supporting Windows environments, and advising on compliance topics. Ideal candidates will have strong German skills and significant experience with Windows servers and cloud environments. Aufgaben

• Assess client IT and security maturity and recommend improvements.
• Act as an operator supporting Windows-based environments.
• Configure and maintain servers and firewall solutions.

• Support certification readiness and perform security gap analyses.
• Occasionally support on-site infrastructure or consulting work.

Kenntnisse

Strong German language skills (C1+)

5+ years of experience with Windows server environments

Experience with on-prem and cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365)

Knowledge of Exchange

Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V)

Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (FortiNet and Palo Alto)

Experience in ISMS consulting, security frameworks, or compliance standards

Experience assessing security maturity or performing gap analyses

Responsibilities:

• You will assess client IT and security maturity and recommend improvements to tools, processes, and infrastructure
• You will act as an operator supporting Windows-based environments
• You will configure and maintain servers and firewall solutions
• You will support on-prem and cloud environments, including Microsoft platforms
• You will advise clients on information security frameworks and compliance topics

• You will occasionally support on-site infrastructure or consulting work

Required Skills:

• You have strong German language skills (C1+)
• You have around 5+ years of experience with Windows server environments
• You have experience with on-prem and cloud environments (Azure, Microsoft 365)
• You have knowledge of Exchange
• You have experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V
• You have hands‑on experience with firewall technologies (ideally FortiNet and Palo Alto)
• You have experience in ISMS consulting, security frameworks, or compliance standards
• You have experience assessing security maturity or performing gap analyses
