About the Role

The IT Infrastructure & Security Administrator serves as a key technical contact for internal IT infrastructure, cloud services, and cybersecurity operations across the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and availability of the company’s IT environment, covering network infrastructure, Microsoft 365 services, endpoint management, and user support. This role requires hands‑on expertise in Microsoft technologies, modern identity and access management, endpoint security, and enterprise IT administration within a security-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and secure the company’s Microsoft 365 and cloud environment, including identity, access, and information protection.
• Administer and optimize the Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.
• Deploy and manage Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access policies within Microsoft Entra ID.

Endpoint & Security Operations

• Implement and maintain Zero Trust security controls using Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and SIEM solutions.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Cloud Apps as part of the Microsoft Defender XDR suite.
• Support endpoint security, device compliance, and access management across the organisation.

Infrastructure & Network Administration

• Maintain and secure network infrastructure, including LAN/WLAN environments, firewalls, segmentation, and VPN connectivity.
• Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, and security.

IT‑Service & User Support

• Manage the full IT lifecycle for employees, including device provisioning, onboarding, offboarding, and access control.
• Provide first‑ and second‑level IT support, manage IT assets and software deployment, and coordinate external vendors and service providers.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of professional experience in IT support or system administration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft 365 tenant administration and SharePoint Online administration, good knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall environments. Experience with Zero Trust concepts, Conditional Access, and identity‑based security controls. Experience managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective.
• Structured and solution‑oriented way of working with strong communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps) in a production environment.
• Familiarity with PowerShell for administration and automation is an advantage.
• Experience creating and maintaining IT documentation and operational procedures.

• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals (SC‑900)
• Microsoft Certified: Information Protection & Compliance Administrator (SC‑400)
• Cisco CCNA or equivalent
• ITIL Foundation
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent
• Microsoft Sentinel or equivalent SIEM platforms
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice, Jira Service Mgmt)
