Job Description

In your new role you will:

  1. Manage projects / sub-projects with medium complexity, risks, impact, and reach.
  2. Manage a medium-sized project team with members outside the direct working environment.
  3. Define and plan projects, which you then implement transparently and successfully using appropriately selected milestones.
  4. Develop and coordinate the specification of the IP to be developed with experts.
  5. Ensure the quality, cost, and timely delivery of the developed IPs, continuously evaluate and anticipate risks with experts.
  6. Build close relationships with user groups and ensure that the developed components are successfully integrated.
  7. Contribute to our project leader community and develop yourself and other community members through intensive exchange.
  8. Master and apply the Infineon project management processes and tools with confidence.
Your Profile

You are "the engine" in our development projects and know how to skillfully drive topics and meet milestones and expectations. To do this, you use your ability to inspire others and identify the right approach for every project team member. At the same time, your technical understanding helps you to mitigate potential issues and to gain acceptance from our developers and stakeholders.

You should have:

  • A completed degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, including 2 years of leading projects.
  • Good understanding of the most important steps in IC development.
  • Ability to effectively manage and track project tasks, schedules, and resources using Infineon's project management processes and tools (e.g., JIRA) with confidence.
  • Project management certification (e.g., IPMA, PMP) is desirable.
  • Excellent English skills and good German skills in written and spoken communication.
