Job summary

BERNER Group is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO consultant to drive the SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance transformations within a hybrid IT landscape. You will design end-to-end finance processes, customize FI/CO modules, and collaborate with stakeholders and enterprise architecture to evolve our finance capabilities.

Join a team delivering migrations, rollouts, and continuous process improvements, ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as an SAP FI/CO consultant.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Hands-on experience in customizing and process design.
• Solid understanding of finance and controlling processes.

Responsibilities

• Consult and support business departments in SAP FI/CO (ECC & S/4HANA).
• Analyse, design, and implement end-to-end finance processes.
• Contribute to S/4HANA transformations, migrations, and rollouts.
• Perform customizing and optimization in FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting).
• CO (Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Internal Orders).
• Ensure integration with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support.
• Drive continuous process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.

YOUR TASKS

YOUR PROFILE

• Several years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Hands‑on experience in customizing and process design
• Solid understanding of finance and controlling processes
• Expertise in areas such as: General Ledger Accounting
• Accounts Payable / Receivable
• Asset Accounting
• Cost Accounting
• Project experience (e.g., rollouts, transformations, migrations)
• Strong analytical skills and structured working style
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with S/4HANA conversions (Greenfield, Brownfield)
• Knowledge of Fiori, MM, SD and Workday
• Experience with system integrations (APIs, interfaces)
• Basic ABAP debugging skills
• Experience with international templates or global rollouts
