Your responsibilities
- Lead our IT area with agility, guiding chapter leads, building high-performing teams, and fostering a positive work culture focused on collaboration, development, and pragmatic solutions.
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy, aligning the IT Area with ING Tech's global direction and local objectives.
- Implement IT initiatives aligned with business strategies, identify synergies, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with the Tribe Lead to find sustainable solutions.
- Create roadmaps with enterprise architects and manage relationships with local and global tech stakeholders.
- Balance growth, IT security, availability, and complexity to advance our IT capabilities.
- Oversee risk management by monitoring our risk appetite and managing risks related to products, processes, and systems.
Your profile
- Degree in (business) informatics or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in agile environments as a technical and disciplinary manager
- Strong understanding of technical concepts, dependencies, and business processes
- Knowledge of IT risk and governance processes
- Excellent analytical, comprehension, and conceptual skills
- Structured, goal-oriented, and solution-focused working style with strong communication and persuasion skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, motivation, and conflict management abilities
- Willingness to learn and openness to new technologies
- Commitment to sustainable management and responsible decision-making
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
