IT Area Lead Voice & Documents (f / m / d)

Your responsibilities

  1. Lead our IT area with agility, guiding chapter leads, building high-performing teams, and fostering a positive work culture focused on collaboration, development, and pragmatic solutions.
  2. Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy, aligning the IT Area with ING Tech's global direction and local objectives.
  3. Implement IT initiatives aligned with business strategies, identify synergies, resolve conflicts, and collaborate with the Tribe Lead to find sustainable solutions.
  4. Create roadmaps with enterprise architects and manage relationships with local and global tech stakeholders.
  5. Balance growth, IT security, availability, and complexity to advance our IT capabilities.
  6. Oversee risk management by monitoring our risk appetite and managing risks related to products, processes, and systems.

Your profile

  • Degree in (business) informatics or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of experience in agile environments as a technical and disciplinary manager
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts, dependencies, and business processes
  • Knowledge of IT risk and governance processes
  • Excellent analytical, comprehension, and conceptual skills
  • Structured, goal-oriented, and solution-focused working style with strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, motivation, and conflict management abilities
  • Willingness to learn and openness to new technologies
  • Commitment to sustainable management and responsible decision-making
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
