What you’ll do

One of SAP’s strategic customers has initiated a transformation program, which includes consuming their SAP landscape of 130 systems as an enhanced private cloud model provided by SAP on RISE. To ensure optimal service, a dedicated team has been established within SAP Enterprise Cloud Services to serve this strategic client. The team's goal is to operate the entire SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption.

As an IT Architecture Security Expert, your responsibilities include:

• Living and promoting the security culture of SAP ECS and our strategic customer.
• Managing customer-specific security requirements and implementing them effectively.
• Managing the backlog, designing and architecting solutions, producing the customer security roadmap, and collaborating with providers to ensure timely, first-time-right implementations.
• Leading risk management, compliance, audit, and vulnerability management efforts.

What you bring

• Expertise in security risks, best practices, and solutions across technical layers such as:
• Database HANA
• Application security for SAP platforms (ABAP, JAVA, WebDispatcher), SAP BTP, cloud connector, etc.
• Networking, including experience with micro partitioning networks.
• Practical experience establishing certificate lifecycle management solutions.
• Solid understanding of authentication and communication protocols.
• A strong commitment to customer satisfaction, prioritizing their needs and preferences.
• Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation—enabling effective issue resolution.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences with confidence and clarity.
• One or more relevant security certifications.
• 10+ years in a security role responsible for SAP applications, databases, OS, and networks; 5+ years in architecting security solutions.
• Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
