In the Social Services Application Development functional area of the IT and Digitalization department at our head office in Kassel, we have a vacancy for a
IT APPLICATION SPECIALIST (m/f/d)
to be filled.
The department is responsible, among other things, for the support of software developed in-house to support the performance of tasks by our employees (m/f/d). We maintain a modern corporate culture with flat hierarchies and open doors and are a future-proof employer in the public sector.
Your Tasks
The main focus of your work is to support users of dialog-oriented IT applications within and outside the LWV Hessen (2nd-level support).
Your Range Of Tasks Includes
- Supporting and advising users of IT applications
- Basic administration and customizing of IT applications as well as conducting presentation and training events
- Collaboration in existing and new IT projects Depending on qualifications and performance, other tasks are also conceivable:
- Planning and designing complex applications in close cooperation with users from the specialist departments of LWV Hessen
- Introduction, commissioning and further development of IT applications
Your Qualification
You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, administrative informatics or comparable courses of study or have comparable qualifications with many years of practical experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
Your Further Profile
- Knowledge and practice - in the support (2nd-level support) of dialog-oriented IT applications
- in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- in the planning and organization of IT projects
- in the relevant legal areas of SGB IX, SGB XII and SGB X, individual participation planning and overall planning and in the IT applications used by LWV Hessen are an advantage
- Very good written and spoken German (language level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
- Ability to think and act analytically and economically
- Problem-solving skills
- Communication skills and addressee orientation
- Cooperation and ability to work in a team
- Stability and resilience
- Willingness for further education and training
