Job summary

Silikal GmbH is seeking an IT administrator (m/f/d) to join our IT department. You will ensure reliable and secure IT infrastructure, manage hardware, software, and networks, and provide 1st- and 2nd-level support.

• In-depth knowledge of Windows server administration.

Responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance, and further development of IT systems (hardware, software, and networks).
• Ensuring IT security and data integrity.
• Installation, configuration, and support of workstations and servers.
• Support and optimization of networks (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall).
• Monitoring, error analysis, and troubleshooting of IT malfunctions.
• Supporting and training employees on IT issues and handling service requests (1st and 2nd level support).
• Planning and implementation of IT projects and updates.
• Documentation of IT infrastructure and processes.
• Interface to external service providers.

We are currently looking for anIT administrator (m/f/d) for our IT department who will use their technical expertise and solution-oriented approach to ensure that our IT infrastructure runs reliably and securely.

Your responsibilities:

• Administration, maintenance, and further development of our IT systems (hardware, software, and networks)
• Ensuring IT security and data integrity
• Installation, configuration, and support of workstations and servers
• Support and optimization of networks (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall)
• Monitoring, error analysis, and troubleshooting of IT malfunctions
• Supporting and training employees on IT issues and handling service requests (1st and 2nd level support)

What you bring to the table:

• Completed training or studies in the field of IT, computer science, or a comparable qualification
• In-depth knowledge of Windows server administration
• Experience with the following software systems is desirable: MESONIC WinLine, Proxess, Lotus Notes, Access databases, Datev, or Sage HR.
• Knowledge of IT security solutions, backup systems, and firewalls
• Analytical thinking and a structured, independent approach to work
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and service orientation
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
