Zusammenfassung

ABB AG in Germany is seeking an IS Manager to lead SAP-based process improvements and end-to-end operations support. You will be the primary SAP expert for multiple modules and act as a bridge between business units and IT.

You will analyze, optimize business processes, support daily SAP operations, deliver training to key users, and contribute to SAP projects and system changes. German fluency and strong communication are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in production planning/preparation, manufacturing, or a comparable industrial environment.
• Fluent German language skills and good command of English.

Aufgaben

• Creation, evaluation, tracking, and testing of SAP requirements and change requests.
• First point of contact for SAP key users, including training sessions and knowledge transfer.
• Providing daily SAP support to employees across the company, including ticket handling and problem resolution.
• Contributing to SAP projects and supporting the smooth implementation of system changes and new functionalities.
• Analyzing and optimizing business processes in close collaboration with SAP key users and business departments.
• Configuring, installing, and supporting hardware components such as label printers and barcode scanners.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the business across multiple areas by applying advanced SAP expertise and a strong understanding of business processes to analyze, optimize, and support end-to-end operations.

As a key SAP expert, you will contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to increase process efficiency and drive business performance.

• Creation, evaluation, tracking, and testing of SAP requirements and change requests.
• First point of contact for SAP key users, including the delivery of training sessions and knowledge transfer when required.
• Providing daily SAP support to employees across the company, including ticket handling, issue analysis, and problem resolution.
• Contributing to SAP projects and supporting the smooth implementation of system changes and new functionalities.
• Analyzing and optimizing business processes in close collaboration with SAP key users and business departments.
• Configuring, installing, and supporting hardware components such as label printers and barcode scanners.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in this area of responsibility.
• Experience in production planning/preparation, manufacturing, or a comparable industrial environment.
• Basic to advanced knowledge of SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, WM, EWM, and GRC.
• Experience in SAP support, user administration, and role management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluent German language skills and good command of English.
