IoT Engineer

Function :

1. Be a point of contact for user requests, incidents, or questions (administrative users and drivers), focusing on OBC components: telecom, hardware, MDM [1], applications.
2. Determine proper escalation for unresolved problems and set priorities.
3. Formalize resolution procedures to enable the Level 1 team to handle recurring issues, fostering continuous improvement.
4. Escalate unresolved issues to Level 3, track and follow up on their resolution internally or with external partners.
5. Ensure documentation is current.
6. Participate in and/or manage technical evolutions and projects.
7. Contribute to R&D initiatives, develop Proof Of Concept with external suppliers to identify and implement new solutions.
8. Resolve issues within his domain when escalated by Level 1; log all requests/incidents in the ticketing tool.
9. Train users.

Profile :

1. IT or Industrial Engineer background.
2. Pragmatic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
3. Strong team player able to work with external providers and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. Curious, creative, autonomous, and dynamic.
5. Proactive in driving change and innovation; supports continuous improvement by exploring alternatives and technologies.
6. Technical skills and initial experience in OBC / IoT / M2M are advantageous.
7. Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
8. Technical skills in programming (Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.) are a strong plus.
