Jobbeschreibung

For our Digitalization initiatives, we are seeking an IoT DevOps Engineer / Full Stack Developer at our location in Ulm (m / f / d).

Your responsibilities
  1. Conceptual design, development, and operation of our device management tools & infrastructure (Provisioning, Update, Logging, Remote Analysis, etc.)
  2. Development and automation of our CI / CD and security monitoring infrastructure
  3. Operation & maintenance of our IoT device backend infrastructure (Logging, Tracing, Reporting, etc.)
  4. Support embedded software development of modern connectivity systems
  5. Integration, development, & automation of Test, Code & Security analysis systems & tools
  6. Evaluation and prototyping of the latest tools and trends in software development
  7. Enforce and implement high-class security concepts in systems and products
  8. Support system integration and testing in an agile team by close cooperation with other developers & testers
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science or comparable
  • End-to-End understanding of IoT systems (device & backend)
  • Experience with containers and deployment tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Helm charts)
  • Experience in automation and orchestration (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
  • Strong knowledge of network and encryption protocols & standards
  • Proficiency in C / C++ / Rust and modern scripting languages
  • Knowledge in building embedded Linux systems (Yocto, etc.) is a plus
  • Practical experience with continuous delivery and agile methods
  • Familiarity with the latest software architecture principles
  • Fluent in English (speaking, understanding, writing)
