Qualifikationen

The mission

OneLife is a Luxembourg life insurance company specialised in cross-border financial planning solutions for wealthy clients across Europe and beyond. To support our growth, we are looking for the right candidate to join our passionate Sales Support team.

The purpose of the role of Investment Solutions Officer is to support the Investment Solutions Team in maintaining daily operational business continuity of the department.

You are responsible for the daily monitoring of the Non-Traditional Assets portfolio (hereafter "NTA") as well as ensuring the procedures are respected. This includes tasks for Quarterly reporting and business as usual of the department. That involves understanding of the valuation method (Asset, Income and Market approach) as well as the alternative funds sector and the unquoted assets.

Main objectives of the role

  • Assess fund’s market trends, Sales, Fund Houses, broker and client’s needs
  • Consult others when managing client requests that are in conflict with standards, practices and regulation
  • Ensure that both procedures and legal framework are respected when onboarding a new NTA
  • Liaise with various stakeholders (internal: Tax & Legal, Compliance…) / external: Custodian banks, Auditors…
  • Ensure an effective follow up of the NTA monitoring and appropriate communication in case of issues
  • Ensure that our internal folders stored on the internal server are up to date
  • Provide clear explanations and supporting documentation during the different phases (NTA acceptance, valuation, etc.)
  • Understand valuation methods for NTA’s (Asset, Income and Market approach)
  • Promote new ideas and services by applying knowledge of the industry/sector to create client value
  • Think of ways for internal and external communication (develop leaflets, brochures, press articles, LinkedIn…)
  • Seek opportunities to add value to clients (be creative), perform/share regulatory updates
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, events… and be an active support to the promotion of the department

Profile of our future teammate

  • Master's Degree in Economics or Finance;
  • Very good knowledge in investment vehicles and in the (alternative) fund industry;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Private Equity, Alternative Funds and valuation analysis sector;
  • Knowledge of valuation methodology or audit background is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Analytical mindset;
  • Flexible and able to easily adapt;
  • Previous experience in broker, fund house or insurance sectors is an asset;
  • Fluent in French and English (any other language is an asset).
