Job summary

Banking Consult Executive Search in Munich is seeking an Investment Manager for an entrepreneurial private equity fund focusing on Western Europe mid-caps. You will join the investment team with transaction responsibility from day one.

You will conduct market and competitive analyses, prepare financial models and valuations, monitor portfolio companies and present analyses to the team. German and English communication skills are essential; a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction consulting or management consulting.
• Independent performance of balance sheet, P&L, cashflow analysis, company valuation and financial modelling.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a structured approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English.

To strengthen their investment team, they are looking for a motivated Investment Manager with a genuine passion for Technology.

Tasks

• Direct involvement and assumption of responsibility in all aspects of the transactions, from acquisition to successful exit.
• Conducting market and competitive analyses across all industries and business models.
• Preparing comprehensive financial analyses and valuation models.
• Monitoring and supporting portfolio companies.
• Preparing and presenting presentations, reports and analyses.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction consulting or management consulting.
• Independent performance of balance sheet, P&L, cashflow analysis, company valuation and financial modelling.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills combined with a structured approach to work.
• High level of commitment, initiative and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Team player with a hands-on mentality.
