Ihre Aufgaben

As an Analyst in the Real Estate sector team, you will support the team in the origination and execution of Investment Banking mandates in the Real Estate sector. This includes tasks such as company and industry research, financial statement analysis, financial modeling, preparation of client presentations, and deal documentation.

You will be involved in the following tasks with increasing responsibility:

1. Be a key team member in the day-to-day project execution work for M&A, ECM, and cross-product transactions across Europe, working closely with senior team members.
2. Draft presentation materials, management and Board materials, memoranda, and other presentations for use in transactions or strategic client dialogues.
3. Build complex financial models for valuation purposes, using methodologies including trading and transaction multiples, DCF, and LBO.
4. Evaluate companies' financial performance compared to industry and market trends.
5. Prepare company and industry analyses.
6. Conduct target and buyer screenings and analyses, including acquisition capacity analyses as appropriate.
7. Stay updated on real estate sector developments and related M&A, equity, and debt issues.
8. Liaise with product experts based in Frankfurt, London, Paris, and/or New York within SG Business Lines.
9. Train and guide interns and VIEs.

Ihr Profil

Experience and technical skills:

• Excellent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• Prior internship or first experience in Investment Banking with a leading bank or advisory firm.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Experience with transactions in German-speaking regions and/or in the real estate sector is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge of Bloomberg and CapitalIQ.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
