Qualifikationen

  • 7+ years in clinical development operations or outsourcing.
  • Experience with clinical study budgets and contracting principles.
  • 2+ years with a Juris Doctorate or equivalent, with expertise in drafting and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements.

Investigator Contracts Lead - Sr. Manager (m/f/d), Hamburg

This role involves managing site-facing contract and budget negotiations with clinical investigator sites, including initial agreements, amendments, and oversight of contracting professionals. Responsibilities include managing the Per-Subject Cost (PSC) process, resolving escalation issues, and collaborating on site contracting timelines. The role may serve as a primary contact for complex studies and requires independent planning and problem-solving skills.

  • Exercise independent judgment in site contracting
  • Manage contract and budget escalations effectively
  • Make decisions balancing risks and trial timelines
  • Problem-solve moderate complexity contracting issues
  • Develop and negotiate global clinical study agreements
  • Oversee the global site budget process
  • Negotiate directly with investigators and institutions
  • Lead negotiations with other ICL, pCRO, and FSP negotiators
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and other divisions for process improvements
  • Apply advanced knowledge of site contracting principles
  • Collaborate with invoicing teams to ensure alignment with contracting and compensation

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in clinical development operations or outsourcing with a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience with clinical study budgets and contracting principles
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to mitigate risks to timelines
  • Leadership skills through influence in a matrix organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years with a master's degree
  • 2+ years with a Juris Doctorate or equivalent, with expertise in drafting and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements
