Job Description:

The Investigator Contracts Lead is responsible for site-facing contract and budget negotiations, including initial agreements, amendments, and oversight of contracting professionals during clinical studies. This role involves managing the Per-Subject Cost process, escalation and resolution of budget issues, and collaborating on site contracting timelines during start-up phases.

• Balance risk and trial timelines when making budget and contractual decisions.
• Develop, negotiate, and execute global clinical study agreements following GPD processes.
• Oversee the global site budget process.
• Negotiate terms directly with clinical trial sites and investigators, within approved templates.
• Build and maintain relationships with investigational sites and Site Management Organizations.
• Lead study-level site contracting activities and serve as the primary contact for site issues.
• Partner with Legal and other divisions to manage escalations and improve contracting processes.
• Coordinate with invoicing teams to ensure alignment with contracting and compensation requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years in clinical development operations or outsourcing, with a bachelor's degree.
• Experience in clinical study budgets and contracting negotiations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to mitigate risks to site contracting timelines.
• Proven leadership and influence in a matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in clinical operations or outsourcing, with a US JD or legal degree.
• Experience drafting and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements globally.
