Job Description:

The Investigator Contracts Lead is responsible for managing site-facing contract and budget negotiations during clinical trial site agreements, including initial contracts and amendments, and overseeing other contracting professionals. Responsibilities include managing the Per-Subject Cost (PSC) process, resolving escalation issues related to budgets and legal terms, and collaborating on site contracting timelines during trial start-up.

  • Balance Pfizer's risks with trial timelines in budget and contractual decisions.
  • Develop, negotiate, and execute global clinical study agreements following GPD processes.
  • Oversee the global site budget process and negotiate terms with investigators and institutions.
  • Lead relationships with key investigational sites and manage site contracting activities.
  • Partner with Legal and other divisions to handle escalations and improve contracting processes.
  • Apply relevant business principles and contribute to major business initiatives and projects.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in clinical development operations or outsourcing, with a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with clinical study budgets and contract negotiations.
  • Strong communication, risk management, and leadership skills within a matrix organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience with a US Juris Doctorate or legal degree.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements globally.
