Job Description:

Investigator Contracts Lead is responsible for direct site-facing contract and budget negotiations through contract execution with assigned clinical investigator sites, including initial agreements and amendments, and oversight of other contracting professionals on assigned studies. This includes managing the Per-Subject Cost (PSC) process, handling escalations and resolutions related to budget and non-legal terms, and collaborating on site contracting timelines during start-up.

• Balance Pfizer's risks in budget and contractual decisions with trial timelines.
• Develop, negotiate, and track global clinical study agreements following GPD processes.
• Oversee the global site budget process.
• Negotiate terms with investigative sites and institutions, modifying templates within legal parameters.
• Build relationships with key investigational sites and Site Management Organizations.
• Lead study-level site contracting activities and serve as primary contact for site contracting issues.
• Partner with Legal and other divisions for escalation management.
• Identify and implement improvements in site contracting processes.
• Apply knowledge of business principles in contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with invoicing teams to ensure alignment with contracting and compensation.
• Contribute to major business initiatives and projects, applying technical skills to achieve objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years in clinical development operations or outsourcing with a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with clinical study budgets and contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of business, compliance, finance, legal, and drug development principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to mitigate risks to site contracting timelines.
• Proven leadership by influence in a matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years in clinical operations or outsourcing, with a US Juris Doctorate or similar legal degree.
• Experience drafting and negotiating Clinical Trial Agreements globally.
