Job Description: Inventory Specialist - Network Operations
In the Network Operations team, your mission is to ensure that Ionity's stock of spare parts and consumables is managed thoroughly.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced inventory specialist with a strong understanding of logistics processes, including customs management and master data management supported by SAP ERP processes. The Logistics Specialist will support Ionity's supply chain needs to ensure the distribution of spare parts across 24 European countries where Ionity's HPC Network supports end customer needs.
Responsibilities :
- Steer logistics processes and collaborate actively with national and international logistics partners.
- Handle processes related to spare part logistics, including return of defective parts and hardware, resolving issues such as customs procedures.
- Conduct regular stock reviews and audits, and prepare for annual stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity.
- Manage parts in SAP and handle Intrastat requests system-wise.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and procedures.
- Review defective parts within the Ionity repair workshop.
- Manage the stock of the repair workshop and set up new storage locations in SAP.
- Ensure processes are followed to provide onsite charging infrastructure for hardware swaps.
- Participate in projects or lead cross-functional teams to develop departmental processes, conduct reviews, and perform analysis.
- Provide updates and reports on inventory status, performance, and maintain best practices in inventory management.
Your Profile
- Education: Supply Chain studies or apprenticeship as a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade or logistics.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in wholesale, foreign trade, or similar supply chain-related functions.
- Strong organizational and task management skills, with experience in prioritizing multiple requests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Structured working style and ability to work independently.
- Process and KPI-driven mindset with a hands-on approach to finding solutions.
- Location: Munich area.
