Your mission
Inventory Accuracy & Control
- Own and maintain accurate inventory records across all EU sites, including on-hand, in-transit, blocked, and consignment stock.
- Conduct regular reconciliations and investigate variances through root cause analysis; implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Collaborate closely with agents to ensure all inventory movements (e.g., damages, credits, shipping errors) are reflected accurately in the ERP system (BC) between reconciliation cycles.
- Design and lead the EU cycle count program, applying risk-based frequency and ABC classification; oversee annual stock takes and provide audit support.
- Maintain and manage inventory-related master data (e.g., units of measure, pack sizes, lot / batch details, shelf life, and replenishment parameters).
- Support weekly and monthly reconciliation processes to ensure accurate booking of sales, cost, and inventory decrementing.
- Perform regular comparisons between Agent / 3PL inventory and ERP records (at least monthly) to ensure alignment and accuracy.
- Liaise with EU IT to understand and manage the Agent Item Matrix; assess whether to update the Matrix or replicate Agent SKUs for accurate inventory decrementing.
- Partner with the US team to identify process gaps, share best practices, and recommend improvements to EU leadership.
Process & Systems
- Standardise and document SOPs related to SKU mapping, revenue recognition, and other inventory management best practices.
- Manage inventory control transactions in the ERP / WMS systems, including adjustments, transfers, and status changes, ensuring compliance and a complete audit trail.
- Work closely with EU IT to facilitate seamless integration and low-friction processing between ERP, 3PLs, and Agents; provide support for system setups and enhancements as needed.
Analytics & Reporting
- Create and publish regular dashboards (daily / weekly) highlighting stock accuracy, aging, slow- and non-moving inventory, and at-risk lots; provide actionable recommendations such as rebalancing, promotions, or write-downs.
- Collaborate with Finance on inventory provisions, and support month-end reconciliations and reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work collaboratively across key departments including Operations, Finance, Business, and IT to ensure a streamlined and accurate inventory control process.
Your profile
- 4+ years in inventory control / stock control within consumer goods / CPG or 3PL, ideally multi-site / multi-country.
- Hands-on with ERP / WMS (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel / BI (Power BI / Tableau).
