Job summary

Henkel is seeking a Sustainability Marketing intern to help bring sustainability to life for consumer brands across Europe. You will translate complex environmental topics into credible consumer storytelling and collaborate with marketing, sales, R&D, and packaging teams.

You will contribute to sustainable innovations, perform analyses, and create communications for strategic decisions. The role supports growth and flexibility in a hybrid setup, starting January 2027 for a 6-month duration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, sustainability, or related field.
• Strong passion for sustainability and consumer-facing solutions.
• Fluent English; German is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data and insights.
• Self-organized, proactive and able to manage multiple topics in parallel.
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel).

What you'll do

• Support the implementation of sustainability strategy for Henkel’s consumer brands across Europe
• Collaborate closely with brand marketing and sales teams to translate complex sustainability topics into clear, credible, and consumer-relevant claims and storytelling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D formula and packaging to understand the environmental impact of our products, including topics like biodegradability, renewability, and CO2 footprint
• Contribute to the development of sustainable innovations, helping make our brands and products even more future-ready
• Prepare analyses, presentations, and communication materials that support strategic decision-making

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, sustainability, or a related field
• Strong passion for sustainability and consumer-facing solutions

We offer you an attractive salary between€1.050-2.270 gross per month. The exact amount of the remuneration depends onthe desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) andexisting degrees.
