Job summary

Henkel is seeking an enthusiastic university student to join our Global Product Development team in Germany on a 6-month internship starting February 2027. You will help develop new formulations for aluminum pretreatments and support lab activities.

The role offers a hybrid work model with flexible hours, international growth opportunities, and a supportive, inclusive work environment. Applicants should be fluent in English and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• University student in chemistry/ polymer chemistry or chemical engineering
• Previous lab experience is nice to have
• Fluent English language skills
• Experience in metal pretreatment and statistics is beneficial
• Highly motivated team player with good communication skills
• Availability as of February 2027 for 6 months

• Being part of a Global Product Development team
• Developing new formulations for pretreatment of aluminium surfaces to improve corrosion resistance
• Setting up a surface pretreatment line for aluminium samples
• Performing bath analysis for surface treatment solutions
• Performing corrosion tests

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1050-2270. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
