Job summary

Henkel in Düsseldorf is offering a six-month internship in our Product Development team to create and test innovative sealant formulations. You will gain hands-on experience in industrial R&D, laboratory formulation, and the implementation of modern digital lab workflows while contributing to a defined development project.

You will work on lab-scale formulation, end-capping, and testing, with regular presentations to technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's student in chemistry, biochemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, industrial chemistry or related field.
• First laboratory experience from research projects or previous internships.
• Fluent English language skills, German is beneficial.
• Strong interest in formulation science and product development.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• High affinity for digital tools and modern ways of working.
• Structured and analytical approach to problem solving with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability as of now for 6 months

About this Position

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1050-2270. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
