Job summary

DISPENDIX, part of the BICO Group, is seeking a Laboratory Assistant Intern in Stuttgart to support our R&D team. You will assist in preparing, executing, and documenting laboratory experiments for life science products and lab technologies.

You'll perform manual pipetting, help with testing, collect data, and maintain organized workspaces. The role offers an opportunity to learn from scientists and engineers in a fast-growing, international setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences or related field.
• Initial laboratory experience is desirable.
• Good written and spoken English skills are required for international environment.

This is a full-time internship based in Stuttgart, Germany . The position is initially planned for a 6 to 12-week internship period , with the exact duration to be agreed upon individually. In this role, you will support our development team in the preparation, execution, and documentation of laboratory experiments, contributing directly to the development of innovative life science products and laboratory technologies.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, perform, and follow up on laboratory experiments.Carry out precise manual pipetting of liquids.Support testing activities, measurements, and data collection.Accurately document experimental results and observations.Assist in organizing and maintaining laboratory workspaces and laboratory inventory.Support the analysis, evaluation, and preparation of experimental data.Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures and safety regulations.Collaborate closely with scientists and engineers within the development team.Contribute to the successful execution of development projects in a laboratory environment.QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree or vocational training in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.Good written and spoken English skills are required , as you will be working in an international environment.Initial laboratory experience is desirable.Experience with manual pipetting is considered an advantage.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Structured and systematic working style.Strong organizational and documentation skills.Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative setting.What we offerJoining DISPENDIX means being part of something big and shaping the future of medicine.
