Job summary

DISPENDIX, part of the BICO group, is seeking a Laboratory Assistant Intern (m/w/d) in Stuttgart, Germany. This full-time internship supports the R&D / Life Science Solutions team by preparing, executing, and documenting laboratory experiments and data.

The role involves precise pipetting, data collection, and collaboration with scientists and engineers to advance life-science products. 6–12 weeks with duration to be agreed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or vocational training in biology, biotechnology, chemistry, or life sciences.
• Good written and spoken English skills are required in an international environment.
• Initial laboratory experience is desirable.
• Experience with manual pipetting is considered an advantage.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and a structured, systematic working style.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively within a team.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, perform, and follow up on laboratory experiments.
• Carry out precise manual pipetting of liquids.

• Accurately document experimental results and observations.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining laboratory workspaces and laboratory inventory.

• Contribute to the successful execution of development projects in a laboratory environment.

We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant Intern (m/w/d) to join our R&D / Life Science Solutions team. This is a full-time internship based in Stuttgart, Germany. The position is initially planned for a 6 to 12-week internship period , with the exact duration to be agreed upon individually. In this role, you will support our development team in the preparation, execution, and documentation of laboratory experiments, contributing directly to the development of innovative life science products and laboratory technologies.
