Zusammenfassung

Lufthansa Technik sucht ein/e Praktikant/in im Bereich Off-the-Shelf, um Softwarelösungen auszuwählen und zu bewerten, Vorlagen zu entwickeln und Best Practices zu erarbeiten. Sie arbeiten an Digitalisierungsprojekten mit Fokus auf IT-Strategie, Prozessdesign und bereichsübergreifender Zusammenarbeit.

Sie gewinnen Einblicke in IT-Strategie, Softwareauswahl, Prozessgestaltung und Management-Kommunikation und arbeiten an aktuellen digitalen Transformationsthemen mit hohem Praxisbezug.

Qualifikationen

• Eingeschrieben während der gesamten Praktikumsdauer (aktueller Immatrikulationsnachweis und schriftlicher Nachweis des Pflichtpraktikums beizulegen) oder Gap Year zwischen Bachelor- und Masterstudium.
• Zum Zeitpunkt des Praktikums mindestens im dritten Semester eines wirtschaftsinformatischen, informatikbezogenen oder vergleichbaren Studiengangs.
• Interesse an Digitalisierung, Softwarelösungen, Prozessoptimierung und moderner IT-Governance.
• Erste Erfahrungen mit GenAI-Entwicklungstools oder Prototyping-Tools, z. B. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot oder Figma Build.
• Strukturierte, eigenständige und kreative Arbeitsweise.
• Freude daran, komplexe Inhalte verständlich zu präsentieren und in praxisnahe Lösungen zu überführen.
• Interesse am Schnittpunkt von Business, IT, Beschaffung und User Experience.

Aufgaben

• Unterstützung bei Auswahl und Bewertung von Off-the-Shelf-Softwarelösungen im Rahmen der Initiative Off-the-Shelf (OTS).
• Mitwirkung bei der Entwicklung von Vorlagen, Checklisten, Richtlinien und Entscheidungsgrundlagen für Business und IT.
• Analyse, Dokumentation und Weiterentwicklung von OTS-Prozessen, Standards und Best Practices.
• Erstellung von Vorlagen, Checklisten, Guidelines und Entscheidungshilfen für Stakeholder aus Business und IT.
• Unterstützung beim Aufbau einer OTS-Wissensplattform mit Wiki- und SharePoint-Strukturen.
• Vorbereitung von Workshops, Meetings und Managementdokumenten.
• Recherche und Marktanalyse zu Off-the-Shelf-Lösungen, digitalen Tools und Best Practices.
• Erstellung von Prozessvisualisierungen, Präsentationen und nutzerorientierter Kommunikation.

Aufgaben:

• Help shape the digital future! As part of the Off-the-Shelf initiative, you'll help select and evaluate innovative software solutions, develop templates and best practices, work on digital transformation projects, and gain exciting insights into IT strategy, process design, and collaboration between business, procurement, and IT.


• Support in developing a prototype for procurement templates to facilitate the structured selection and evaluation of software solutions


• Analysis, documentation, and further development of OTS processes, standards, and best practices


• Creation of templates, checklists, guidelines, and decision-making aids for business and IT stakeholders


• Contributing to the development of an OTS knowledge platform using Wiki and SharePoint structures


• Preparing workshops, meetings, and management documents


• Research and market analysis on off-the-shelf solutions, digital tools, and best practices


• Creation of process visualizations, presentations, and user-oriented communication materials


• Supporting collaboration between business, procurement, and IT


• Participating in meetings for the Off-the-Shelf Software initiative and workshops on change management


• You'll work on a current digital transformation topic with high practical relevance


• You'll have the opportunity to actively contribute your own ideas and produce tangible results


• You’ll gain insights into IT strategy, software selection, process design, and management communication

Qualifikation:

• Enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and written proof of the mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship between the bachelor's and master's programs (Gap Year)


• At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program in Business Informatics, Computer Science, IT-related Economics, or a comparable field


• Interest in digitalization, software solutions, process optimization, and modern IT governance


• Initial experience with GenAI development tools or prototyping tools, e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Figma Build


• A structured, independent, and creative approach to work


• Enjoyment in presenting complex content in an understandable way and translating it into practical solutions


• Interest in the intersection of business, IT, procurement, and user experience
