Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Immenstaad on Lake Constance offers an internship in Satellite On-Board Data Handling and Integration of Data Handling Unit. You will support testing, documentation, and development activities in a dynamic, international team.

Enrolled students in Electrical Engineering or Information Theory, with English fluency and good communication, will collaborate across domains including AI, cloud security, and processor data handling in a practical project environment.

• Language skills: English fluent; German/French/Spanish are beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Support setup of the test bench, test specification, execution and evaluation of functional tests for the prototype Hardware Digital Unit in the ADHA study.
• Be introduced to ADHA with provided documentation and self-study materials.
• Assist with defining test scope with a leading engineer, setup of tests, test scripting, execution and reporting.

Tasks and responsibilities

Airbus is contributing in central roles to the Advanced Data Handling Architecture (ADHA) Study sponsored by the European Space Agency. In the frame of the study the first Hardware digital unit is built in 2027. The selected candidate will support the setup of the test bench, test specification, execution and evaluation of the functional tests of this prototype unit. The internship will start with an introduction to ADHA and the selected candidate will be provided with documentation to familiarize with the topic (self-study). In a second step the test scope will be defined together with a leading engineer. Thereafter the selected candidate will (support) the setup of the test, specify the test, generate the respective test script, execute the test cases, evaluate the results and generate a test report. All the work will be documented in detail.
