Join us in reshaping global trade in a fast-growing startup!
We are traide AI - a VC-backed, B2B deep tech startup based in Berlin, using AI to solve one of the most overlooked yet critical challenges in international trade: customs compliance. Our software automates product classification, reduces regulatory errors, and helps customers save up to 83% of their time.
Trusted by leading brands like Siemens Healthineers, BMW, and Jack Wolfskin , we’ve achieved 4x growth over the past 12 months – and we’re just getting started.
As an Intern Founders Associate to the Chief of Staff, you'll work directly with Katharina and support our co-founder and CEO Leonie - not as a shadow, but as someone who actually moves things forward. You'll own projects, not just support them.
Take ownership of your own (sub-)projects in areas such as finance, people & culture, business development, or operations (you'll also have room to identify and drive your own initiatives).
Our mission for you
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (late stage) or Master's program: ideally in Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field
First experience in a fast-paced environment - whether in a startup, consulting, or a similar high-intensity, project-driven setting
You are motivated to take on a wide range of tasks and bring a hands‑on mentality
Comfortable operating in high ambiguity: you can prioritize, adapt, and maintain quality even when things shift fast
You have excellent German (C1 or native) and English skills (B2 or better)
Structured and organized: you can manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
You possess strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
Even if you don't meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. Imposter syndrome shouldn't hold you back: we value drive and potential above all.
We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. If you're passionate about making a difference and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you – even if you don't meet every requirement.
And one more thing: We’re not just building an AI product, we’re building an AI company. From how we think about processes to how we grow teams and shape our culture – AI is at the core of how we operate.
Application process: You will receive feedback within two weeks. The process includes interviews, a practical challenge, and conversations with our team.
