Job summary

MCF Corporate Finance GmbH in Germany is seeking interns for the Debt Advisory team in Q2 2027. You will support leveraged buyout financings, refinancings and restructurings and assist with client presentations and Excel-based financial models.

Ideal candidates have at least three Master’s semesters in economics or natural sciences, strong MS Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint), and fluency in German and English.

What you'll do

• Involvement in leveraged buyout financings, refinancings and financial restructurings for well-known clients (private equity, mid-market companies)
• Support in the preparation of presentations for clients
• Preparation of Excel-based financial models
• Preparation of company/competitor analyses
• Research activities using public sources and specific databases

About you

• Motivation, responsibility as well as resilience with a lot of initiative and team spirit
• A strong track record of at least three Master's semesters in economics or natural sciences
• Preferable work experience from previous internships at banks, WPs, private equity companies, strategy consultancies or comparable companies
• Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Fluent in German and English
