Job summary

Bloomwell sucht eine erfahrene International Expansion Lead, um neue Märkte außerhalb Deutschlands zu erschließen. Sie arbeiten eng mit der Geschäftsführung zusammen, bauen Partnerschaften mit Apotheken, Kliniken und Distributoren auf und setzen regulatorische sowie operative Prozesse in neuen Ländern um.

Sie gestalten strategische Markteintritte eigenständig, führen Verhandlungen und entwickeln standardisierte Playbooks für zukünftige Expansionen.

Qualifications

• Sie haben etwas aus dem Nichts aufgebaut: eigenes Startup, neue Geschäftseinheit oder Markteinführung
• Sie suchen nicht immer die Antwort, finden sie eigenständig
• Sie sind hands-on und reden direkt mit Partnern, telefonisch oder vor Ort
• Erfahrung im medizinischen Cannabis, CBD, Pharma oder regulierten Märkten ist hilfreich
• Sie rechnen wirtschaftlich: Business Case, Marktbewertung, Stückzahlen
• Sie verhandeln gut und bauen Vertrauen über verschiedene Kulturen hinweg
• Sie sprechen fließend Englisch und idealerweise gutes Deutsch; weitere europäische Sprachen sind Plus
• Sie legen Wert darauf, Cannabis als Medizin voranzubringen
• Nice to have: Kenntnisse zu Cannabis-Regularien außerhalb Deutschlands

Responsibilities

• Markttests identifizieren, Vor-Ort-Gespräche führen und Partnerkontakte aufbauen
• Ersten Markteintritt in einem Land aufsetzen: Partner, Lizenzen, Prozesse
• Deals mit Apotheken, Kliniken, Distributoren und Logistikern verhandeln
• Kleine Pilotprojekte starten, schnell testen, Ergebnisse anpassen
• Eng mit Management arbeiten und Produkt, Marketing, Recht & Regulierung einbinden
• Dokumentation der Erfolgsrezepte in einem Marktentry-Playbook
• Regelmäßige Reisen in die Zielmärkte

We are a health tech scale up and make treatment with medical cannabis accessible through our own telemedicine platform: digital, simple and patient centric. And we are growing fast.

As our International Expansion Manager, you own the next stage of our growth and take Bloomwell beyond Germany. We are evaluating international markets and you lead the work of turning that opportunity into reality. You work closely with management and take full ownership of your domain.

This is not a sales role and not a desk research job. You pick a market, go there, talk to doctors, pharmacies, regulators and distributors, figure out what works and get it running.

Deine Aufgaben

• Find out which markets are worth it, not only from reports but on the ground through calls, visits and first conversations with potential partners
• Build our first setup in a new country, from partners and licenses to processes, often with a workaround before the perfect solution exists
• Find and close deals with local pharmacies, clinics, distributors and logistics providers
• Start small, test fast and adjust, with pilots before big launches
• Work directly with management and pull in product, marketing, legal and regulatory when you need them
• Document what works in a structured market entry playbook that speeds up future launches
• Travel regularly to the markets you're building

The position is initially limited to 18 months. This is in accordance with our internal governance and planning principles, under which we structure employment relationships for a defined period of time initially. If performance is as expected, there is generally the prospect of a long‑term continuation of the employment relationship. A possible extension will be discussed well in advance of the end of the fixed‑term period.

Dein Profil

• You've built something from zero: your own start‑up, a venture building role, a new business unit or a market launch you owned end to end
• You're fine with not knowing the answer yet and finding it out yourself
• You're hands‑on and like to talk to partners directly, by phone or on site
• Experience in medical cannabis, CBD, pharma or another regulated market is a big plus
• You can do the numbers yourself: business case, market sizing, unit economics
• You negotiate well and build trust with partners from different cultures
• Fluent English and ideally good German; other European languages are a plus
• You genuinely care about cannabis as medicine

Nice to have: knowledge of cannabis regulation in a market outside Germany.
