Zusammenfassung

smart Europe GmbH is seeking a Marketing Intern to gain hands-on experience across brand management, digital marketing, events, communications, and campaign execution. You will support the marketing team in day-to-day activities, coordinate projects, assist with content creation, and help analyze campaign performance.

This role offers exposure to the automotive industry, collaboration with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, international environment, and a chance to contribute to campaigns

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages a plus.
• Willing to travel across Europe and be based near Leinfelden-Echterdingen; valid EU driver's license.

You will support the marketing team in day-to-day activities, coordinate projects, assist with content creation, and help analyze campaign performance. This role offers a comprehensive insight into the automotive industry and the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, international environment. You will play a key supporting role while developing a broad understanding of modern marketing practices.

Your responsibilities

Marketing Campaign Support

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns.
• Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials across various channels.
• Monitor campaign timelines and ensure timely delivery of assets.
• Help track campaign performance and prepare basic reporting analyses.

Digital Marketing & Content

• Support the management of digital marketing and social media content.
• Assist in creating presentations, newsletters, and marketing copy.
• Coordinate content updates with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences.

Events & Brand Activation

• Support the organization and execution of events, product launches, and brand activations.
• Assist with event logistics, supplier coordination, and attendee communication.
• Help prepare event materials, presentations, and promotional assets.
• Collect and summarize feedback and results from marketing events.

PR Communications

• Support the maintenance and organization of documents and materials, ensuring content is up to date, and well-structured.
• Assist with updating and maintaining the brand and product heritage section of the company website.
• Support the onboarding process of an external service provider, including coordination of information, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Help prepare presentations, briefing materials, and other communication assets for PR-related projects and activities.

Marketing Operations & Administration

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the marketing team.
• Coordinate meetings, maintain project documentation, and track action items.
• Support budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor management activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist with ad-hoc marketing projects and operational tasks as needed.

What you bring along

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• You have a genuine interest in marketing trends and passion for the automotive industry.
• You bring creativity and a proactive attitude, with a desire to learn and contribute meaningfully.
• You have excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail.
• You’re comfortable working with creative tools, presentation formats, and social media platforms.
• You communicate fluently in English and German (required); additional European languages are a plus.
• You are willing and able to travel across Europe for events (occasionally including weekends).
• You enjoy working collaboratively, thrive in a dynamic environment, and bring energy to every task—big or small.
• You are based or willing to move close to our Office in Leinfelden-Echterdingen.
• You have a valid EU driver’s license.
