Zusammenfassung

TeamViewer is seeking an intern in our QA team located in Göppingen, Germany. As an intern, you will support internal tooling, write test plans, and develop automated tests to enhance quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain our internal tooling, scripts, and automation pipelines to support the team’s productivity
• Write, review and execute test plans and cases throughout the development life cycle
• Ensure test plans thoroughly cover all requirements and use cases
• Develop automated tests for the most important test suites and setup those under CI/CD
• Actively participate in refinement sessions of the scrum team, provide feedback from the end-user perspective
• Closely work with QAs from all teams on common topics
• Foster a continuous improvement approach to QA activities
• Monitor and maintain daily automated regression runs
• Take ownership of your own small projects or components and bring your ideas into real-life solutions

Requirements

• Mandatory internship certificate from your university, very important.
• Availability to work full-time for six months.
• Enrolled student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of quality assurance processes.
• Knowledge of Windows system administration.
• Knowledge or experience in Windows, MacOS, Android, and/or iOS.
• Well versed with at least one of the coding languages like C#, C++, Python, Java or Kotlin.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, further languages such as German are a plus.
• Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a collaborative team environment.
• Prior experience through personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions is a plus.
• Experience in dev-ops related topics like container orchestration or CI/CD is a plus.

• Our Working Students in Germany receive a competitive monthly salary:
  • €1,566 for a 20-hour/week contract
  • €1,253 for a 16-hour/week contract
  • €1,400 for a full-time internship position
