Rocket Factory Augsburg AG is seeking a motivated student to support structural dynamics work on launch vehicle design during their studies. You will build FE models, run static and dynamic analyses, and assist with modal and component testing while developing Python tools for data post processing.

The role emphasizes collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, CAD input, and exposure to industry-grade software (NASTRAN/ANSYS).

Qualifikationen

• Current student in B.S. or M.S in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with strong focus on Structural Dynamics Engineering.
• Knowledge on Finite Element Modelling associated with static, dynamic and acoustic analysis.
• Basic experience of design CAD.
• Experience in Python or Matlab.
• Preferred experience with structural analysis software, such as NASTRAN (Femap/NX Simcenter) or Ansys.
• Background in modal testing and component testing, such as shock or random vibration test, is a plus.
• Be creative, responsible and with strong sense of proactivity.
• Ability to effectively collaborate on multi-disciplinary topic and with different team.
• Fluent in English reading and writing.
