Rocket Factory Augsburg is seeking a Stage Assembly & Integration Technician (f/m/d) to contribute to prototype development and time-critical test campaigns in an international setting. You will work hands-on with additive manufacturing processes and 3D printers, ensuring quality across the process chain.

Required: engineering degree or equivalent, strong English, and availability from January 2026. The role offers a dynamic New Space startup environment with flexible hours and growth

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering or related discipline.
• Completed technical training or internships is advantageous.
• Experience with additive manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with operation and maintenance of 3D printers is advantageous.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Available from January 2026.

Your Tasks

Post processing of printed components

Characterize fabricated parts to understand part quality and surface finishes

Support the development and establishment of the whole process chain of 3D printing

Establish quality management for the 3D printing process chain

Your Qualifications

You must be available from January 2026

Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in engineering or related discipline

Completed technical training or comparable experience (e.g. through several internships) is advantageous

Technical knowledge in additive manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment is advantageous

Hands-on experience with the operation and maintenance of 3D printers is advantageous

Experience with Materialise Magics is a plus

Fluent in spoken and written English (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)

Self-independent, structured way of working and passion to work hands-on
