Job summary

DHL Express is seeking anIntern - Customer Emission Reporting to support the ESG Controlling team in Bonn for a 6-month internship.

You will help with month-end closing, KPI analyses, and the digitalization of reporting using Power BI, while supporting forecasting and the implementation of reporting improvements. English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed tertiary studies in Business Management, Finance, or Business Analytics.
• Experience in finance or ESG reporting preferred.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Power BI/Tableau.
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support month end closing and analyses for ESG KPIs.
• Assist digitalizing reporting via Power BI.
• Support forecasting and planning of ESG KPIs.
• Contribute to ESG controls framework adherence.
• Assist in projects and system implementations as needed.
• Contribute to improvements to increase efficiency of ESG reporting processes.
• Prepare Management reports.

We are looking for an Intern - Customer Emission Reporting based in Bonn. Kindly note that the duration of this internship is 6 months.

In this internship, you will provide overall Controlling & Reporting support to the local ESG Controlling team by developing and expanding on various emission & sustainability reporting.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

• Support month end closing and perform analyses at multiple levels for ESG KPIs.
• Support in further digitalizing of reporting (e.g. via Power BI Reports, etc.).
• Support Forecasting and Planning of ESG KPIs.
• Active participation to the adherence to ESG controls according to the implemented Control framework.
• Support required projects and system implementations as needed.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of improvements to increase efficiency of ESG Reporting processes without compromising quality.
• Prepare Management reports.

Do you have what it takes?

• Tertiary education or currently studying towards a tertiary education related to either Business Management / Finance / Business Analytics.
• Prior experience working in a Finance or ESG environment is preferred.
• Prior experience in reporting, leveraging BI tools such as Power BI / Tableau.
• Advanced Excel, high level of attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Fluency in English. German is advantageous.
