tesa, a global leader in adhesive solutions, offers an exciting automation internship at its Hamburg campus. You will work on shopfloor automation projects, programming and optimizing PLC-based systems and edge digital solutions to support smart manufacturing.

The role welcomes students from Automation, Electrical Engineering, CS or Mechatronics, with ML basics and programming skills. You will join a collaborative team, benefit from flexible hours and a campus environment, and gain exposure to

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechatronics
• Knowledge of automation & control systems (PLC, industrial protocols, computer vision)
• Basic machine learning experience + one programming language (Python, R, MATLAB)
• Curious and eager to learn
• Proficient English skills and at least basic German skills
• Experience with data structures & analysis is a bonus

• You program and optimize automation systems (PLCs, sensors, etc.)
• Integrate digital solutions like closed control loops on edge to support smart manufacturing
• Contribute to shopfloor automation projects at our Pilot Center
