tesa is seeking a motivated master's student for the Testing & Simulation team at the Hamburg campus to support development through modeling and simulation. The role involves planning and executing tests, coordinating collaborations, and may include a master’s thesis project.

You will join a team that values hands-on lab experience, independent work, and the use of MS Office and simulation software to optimize adhesives and products for electronics applications.

• Support the development and improvement of adhesives and products through modeling and simulation

The tesa Testing & Simulation team focues on the development and optimization of adhesive solutions through a combination of experimental testing and advanced simulation methods. We develop and optimize adhesive solutions by combining advanced testing and simulation methods. In Electronics, our products are essential for a wide range of applications—for example, up to 70 adhesive tape applications can be found in a single smartphone, including bonding, sealing, protection, and thermal management. By linking material characterization, application testing, and modeling, we ensure high performance and reliability in demanding electronic devices.

• You will support the development and improvement of our adhesives and products through modeling and simulation
• You will prepare and execute application tests in BU Electronics
• You will independently plan and evaluate mechanical and chemical tests in close cooperation with your colleagues
• You will support the coordination of research and development collaborations
• You will optionally develop your own task independently within the framework of a master’s thesi
• You are ideally in your master's program in the field of mechanical engineering / simulation / process engineering or a comparable course of study
• You possess high self-motivation and an independent working style Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in the laboratory as well as in material modeling
• You are proficient in using the MS Office suite and simulation programs
