Job summary

Allianz Consulting in Munich seeks a motivated intern to support local client projects and Allianz internal tasks. You will collaborate with consultants, contribute to strategic initiatives, and gain exposure to digital, sustainability, and operational excellence efforts.

You will work in a hybrid model with early responsibility and opportunities to present results to senior stakeholders. The role starts in April 2027 for at least 3 months full-time (38h/week).

Qualifications

• Enrollment in University, or gap year.
• University degree (at least Bachelor).
• Basic understanding of AI frameworks and ability to utilize AI tools.
• Excellent results in education.
• Operational experience in consulting or internships is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Fluent English and German (minimum B2).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and start April 2027 for 3 months full-time (38h/week).

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager/Project Manager within project deadlines.
• Provide consulting support to existing Allianz Germany clients and gain access to opportunities.
• Present results to Partners and clients.
• Contribute to Allianz Consulting service offerings.

Department Description & Job Purpose

As a part of Allianz Consulting, the pillar “Germany and Central Europe” focuses to provide dedicated support especially for Germany-based Allianz operating entities in planning and implementing their local key strategic projects. Additionally, our diverse AZ Consulting team actively drives a broad range of global Allianz initiatives across various sectors. As an intern, you will support one or several of our client's projects, together with other consultants. Further, you will be supporting Allianz Consulting internal tasks to drive its organizational processes & focus topics.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager/ Project Manager, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem solving, conflict management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant responsibilities
• Provide consulting support to existing clients (e.g. Allianz Germany, Allianz SE) and gain access to an unparalleled range of opportunities
• Present the result of your work to Partners and clients
• General contribution to our service offerings at Allianz Consulting

Key requirements

• Enrollment in University, or in a gap year
• University degree (at least Bachelor, e.g., International Business or Economics, or equivalent consulting-compatible degrees)
• Basic understanding of AI frameworks and the ability to utilize AI tools in everyday tasks. Interest in supporting clients in adopting AI for successful business transformation.
• Excellent results in previous education
• Operational business and/ or consultancy experience is desirable (internship or employment as working student)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, conceptual and outside-the-box thinking
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
• Curiosity and keen on learning
• Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English and German (minimum B2)
• Ability and willingness to work in our hybrid working model, including the required office days
• You can start in April 2027 and are interested in an internship for minimum 3 months in full-time capacity (38h/week)
