Allianz Consulting in Germany seeks a Senior Consultant to lead defined modules within strategy and transformation engagements for senior Allianz stakeholders. • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a comparable field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in strategy or management consulting, ideally with a top-tier or internal consulting firm, covering business transformation strategy development and rollouts or M&A transactions and due diligences
• Solid knowledge of AI and generative AI (GenAI) frameworks, daily use of AI tools in your own work and the ability to support clients on AI adoption for business transformation
• Experience in being part of large-scale projects or program management offices
• Hands-on experience in strategy development, business planning, target operating model design or business process improvement, with a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking and problem solving
• Curiosity for or knowledge of insurance and financial services and of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, including complex functions and modeling
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Aufgaben

• Deliver modules of complex strategic and transformation projects that reshape how Allianz operates, from strategic rationale, business case and financial modeling (including for potential acquisitions) to new operating models, taking responsibility for the quality of your deliverables and for reaching project milestones
• Run the day-to-day project governance, including steering committee preparation, delivery and impact reporting, risk and dependency tracking, project timelines and communications, and board presentations for senior management
• Work closely with client teams, build trusted working relationships with your counterparts and guide consultants and analysts on your module
• Keep the Engagement Manager and workstream lead informed on progress, risks and dependencies, and proactively flag issues with proposed solutions before they escalat...
• Analyze business needs through external benchmarking, selected due diligence and research on industry trends and market conditions, identify improvement opportunities across the insurance value chain and their top-down impact, and translate them into solutions that enhance business processes, operating models and digital capabilities
• Contribute to business development and client pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, developing solution concepts and supporting materials
• Share knowledge and help increase Allianz Consulting expertise within our strategic areas of development, including through internal projects and team events
• Ensure effective stakeholder communication and maintain strong client partnerships throughout the project lifecycle

About The Team

The Insurance Transformation team partners with senior Allianz Group leaders on their most consequential strategic priorities. We define growth and productivity levers, harmonize business models, and translate strategic ambitions, such as the Group's AI agenda, into a prioritized transformation roadmap. We then drive its delivery by designing target operating models, redesigning end-to-end processes, and governing Group-wide transformation programs through to measurable results.

Role Overview

As a Senior Consultant you work at the heart of strategy and transformation engagements for senior Allianz stakeholders, owning well-defined modules within a workstream. You start from strategy, structuring the analyses and business planning that help senior leaders set priorities and understand how Allianz competes and operates in a changing market. You then move to design and delivery, improving processes and performance, contributing to the operating models that sustain the change and keeping the project governance running day to day. Along the way you guide consultants and analysts on your module and grow into leading workstreams yourself.
