Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to plan, deliver, and continuously improve technical training for automotive diagnostics and EV systems. You will design engaging sessions for technicians, service advisors, and leadership teams, bridging theory and hands-on practice.

You will lead content development for manuals, videos, and digital courses while maintaining brand standards. Travel readiness and strong communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Technical diploma or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience in advanced automotive diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Experience in automotive manufacturers, dealerships, or training organizations.

• Plan, prepare, and facilitate technical training sessions in classroom and virtual environments
• Act as a technical authority in advanced automotive diagnostics, fault analysis, system troubleshooting, and repair methodologies
• Deliver training programs covering conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicles
• Conduct specialized training on electric vehicle architecture, high-voltage systems, electric vehicle safety procedures, and diagnosis and maintenance of electrical components
• Develop, review, and update technical learning materials, including presentations, manuals, guides, videos, and digital content
• Adapt technical content for technicians, service advisors, trainers, and leadership teams
• Align training programs with brand standards, industry best practices, and emerging automotive technologies
• Support continuous improvement through learner feedback, training metrics, and evolving business requirements
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and dealer networks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify capability gaps and training priorities
• Promote safe working practices in high-voltage and electrified vehicle environments
• Support knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the organization

Requirements

• Technical diploma or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• Proven experience in advanced automotive diagnostics and fault-finding
• Previous experience within automotive manufacturers, dealerships, technical training organizations, or related environments
• Experience as a Technical Trainer, Technical Specialist, Field Support Engineer, or equivalent role
• Availability to travel as required
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic methodologies
• Solid knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicle technology, including high-voltage systems and safety procedures
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging technical training programs
• Familiarity with manufacturer diagnostic platforms and service tools
• Clear and engaging communication style with strong facilitation skills
• Consultative and solution-oriented approach
• Well organized, proactive, and committed to continuous learning
• Ability to engage diverse technical audiences and build credibility through expertise
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capability
• Advanced English is desirable
