A leading AI education firm is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer for a remote, project-based role. You will review university-level course content to ensure alignment with international standards and validate AI-focused materials. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-5 years of experience in instructional design, particularly in STEM or AI courses. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and requires strong analytical and communication skills.
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with a strong background in AI education and curriculum quality assurance to join our global remote team. This is a project-based, freelance role focused on reviewing university-level course content, ensuring alignment with international standards, and validating AI-focused materials.
Key Responsibilities
Review and align Course and Unit Learning Outcomes (CLOs/ULOs) with curriculum frameworks
Fact-check and provide actionable feedback on AI-related content (e.g., Generative AI, Machine Learning, Responsible AI)
Evaluate multimedia assets (videos, interactive components) for instructional effectiveness
Complete quality assurance checklists and edit instructional documents using collaborative tools
Collaborate with cross-functional remote teams in curriculum development and QA
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Computer Science, AI, or related fields
2–5 years’ experience in instructional design or curriculum development, especially in STEM or AI-focused courses
Proven experience with quality assurance in higher education content
Technical proficiency in Google Docs (Suggesting Mode), Microsoft Word (Track Changes), and spreadsheet tools
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Instructional Design, AI, or Education
Certifications such as QM, CPLP, OLC, DeepLearning.AI, or Google/Microsoft AI credentials
Experience working on remote, project-based curriculum or eLearning initiatives
Familiarity with LMS platforms (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard) and remote tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams)
Exposure to global education standards (e.g., CHEA, WASC, QAA)
