We are looking for an Installation Technician to join a major global laboratory equipment company.

This is a great opportunity for someone seeking an entry-level role or a dynamic position. The role is home-based but involves significant domestic and international travel, up to 80%.

Your responsibilities will include working with multiple teams to configure robotic systems according to customer installation specifications, and traveling to customer sites for installation.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical assemblies using schematics, mechanical drawings, and procedures
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, including DC and AC voltages
• Travel internationally for 2-3 weeks at a time, occasionally up to 8 weeks for training in the U.S. when first hired

Candidate Profile

• Background in electronic technician programs, apprenticeships, or at least 1 year of electronics installation experience
• Fluent in English
• German language skills are a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of ERP and PLM systems is advantageous but not essential
• EU passport for travel and work purposes
• EU driver’s license
• Ability to lift products weighing up to 25kg
