Siemens Energy is seeking an Installation Expert (f/m/d) to support international HVDC and FACTS projects. You will develop installation concepts, optimize scheduling, and select subcontractors, acting as the interface between Engineering, Project Management, and Site Execution.

You bring an engineering degree, several years in site execution, NCR handling, and international communication in German and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of experience in site execution, project delivery, and installation planning (HVDC/substations/FACTS).
• Knowledge of schedule management, subcontractor coordination, and workflows.
• Experience with NCRs, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Develop installation concepts for international HVDC/FACTS projects.
• Coordinate interfaces between Engineering, PM and Site Execution.
• Evaluate NCRs and drive lessons learned and continuous improvement.
• Support project scheduling and subcontractor evaluation/coordination.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Installation Expert (f/m/d), you will support international projects in the field of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission and/or FACTS systems. Your focus will be on developing and optimizing installation concepts, project scheduling, and the evaluation and selection of subcontractors.

In this role, you will act as a key interface between Engineering, Project Management, and Site Execution. Leveraging your technical expertise, you will ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with the highest quality standards.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Provide technical support in the development and implementation of installation and execution concepts for international projects
• Manage interfaces between Engineering, Project Management, and Site Execution to ensure effective collaboration and alignment
• Evaluate non-conformance reports (NCRs), conduct root cause analyses, and establish lessons learned processes to drive continuous improvement
• Support project scheduling activities as well as the coordination and evaluation of subcontractors.
• Actively contribute to project management with a focus on schedule adherence, quality standards, and successful project execution
• Provide technical guidance, training, and development support to team members, and contribute to research, development, and international site activities

What You Bring

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, combined with practical experience at a comparable level
• Several years of experience in site execution, project delivery, and installation/execution planning, ideally within substations, HVDC projects, or FACTS systems
• Knowledge of schedule management, subcontractor coordination, and project-related workflows
• Experience in quality management, non-conformance management (NCRs), root cause analysis, and continuous improvement processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in international project environments, with proficiency in both German and English
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with a high level of personal responsibility, teamwork, and a coaching mindset
