Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor seeks an Environmental Field Analyst to conduct technical site visits, analyze licensing applications, and prepare field reports from Pará’s diverse landscapes.

You will work in small teams, travel frequently, and apply knowledge of soils, geology, vegetation, fauna, and local communities to produce objective assessments. Proficiency in field surveys and reporting is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Environmental Engineering or related Environmental Sciences.
• Experience conducting technical analyses and field assessments.
• Knowledge of Amazonian ecosystems and Pará region.

• Work in teams of two professionals
• Prepare Field Reports using a predefined template
• Conduct technical analyses and assessments of applications in the field

Requirements

• Degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Biology, Geography, Geology, Ecology, or a related field within the Environmental Sciences
• Experience conducting technical analyses and assessments of applications in the field
• Knowledge of terrain, soils, water resources, geology, geomorphology, and the region's environmental characteristics
• Knowledge of Amazonian ecosystems and vegetation physiognomies
• Knowledge of vegetation, plant cover, and the main formations found throughout the state of Pará
• Knowledge of regional fauna and the ability to identify relevant evidence during inspections
• Knowledge of land-use patterns, local and traditional communities, economic activities, and socio-environmental dynamics
• Knowledge of environmental licensing and environmental legislation
• Ability to conduct environmental surveys and field-based assessments
• Experience preparing technical inspection reports, photographic records, and technical opinions
• Availability for travel and frequent fieldwork
• Must reside in the state of Pará
